Central Online Platform Based on XWiki
EsPresto created a central online platform based on XWiki for the placement of offers of the Business Development Department in Berlin. Relating to that, EsPresto renounced on page structure and optimized the search functionality.
Project Details
For a better search engine exposure of pages, all content will be tagged permanently. The dashboard was created in a clearly arranged and simplyfied way.
It contains only a search button and a tag cloud. EsPresto has preconfigured the server of Berlin Partner with Linux, Apache, Tomcat and a database as well as an Open Office server. Afterwards EsPresto installed the wiki software based on XWiki.
The solution was implemented in a way that it uses the existing user passwords from an LDAP directory. EsPresto developed a role based on an access control system. In addition to that, the team of EsPresto adapted the existing tag results page and created a filter mechanism which allows filtering of the results.
Furthermore the required page templates were created and already existing data was imported to the enterprise wiki solution.
