By order of BITKOM, EsPresto created - in cooperation with erlebe-it.de - a portal solution for the talent iniative of the German Federation of the Information Industry, Telecommunications and New Media e.V. in cooperation with erlebe-it.
In addition to useful information for business and schools further areas were created. For example with regard to "IT scouts", which implement projects in schools. This portal offers a download tool box and a community platform for "IT scouts". Furthermore the integration of an interactive project map where sponsoring projects and IT-scouts are located which can be contacted now.
The portal solution was developed within only four weeks. In addition to EsPresto three further companies were involved in the development of portal "erlebe it". EsPreso was responsible for the integration, coordination and the overall technical project lead.
Content Management System Based on TYPO3
EsPresto set up and configured a content management system based on TYPO3. Single pages and templates were created in TYPO3 with the particular design.
Voice of the IT, Telecommunications and New Media Industry in Germany
BITKOM is the voice of the IT, telecommunications and new media industry in Germany. The organization represents more than 1.350 businesses, of which 1.000 are direct members. Most of them are global players; however 700 mid-sized firms also enjoy BITKOM’s services. In the German ICT market BITKOM represents almost 90 percent of the market.
BITKOM is the most important intermediary between the ICT industry and the press in Germany. The organization communicates the political, economical and societal positions of its members. It supports their concerns by engaging in various public relation activities.
Member companies have access to unique platforms like forums, work groups and expert committees for the exchange of ideas. With numerous events and exhibition booths within and outside of Germany, BITKOM also supports its members on their way to the international markets. BITKOM e.V. is an EsPresto customer since 2008.
